This project involved providing fire and life safety consultancy services for the Jabal Al Shifah Project, a large-scale development consisting of three distinct villages and a scenic route. The core objective was to ensure the project's designs and masterplan components complied with the Saudi Building Code (SBC) and NFPA Codes and Standards as adopted by the local Civil Defence (CD).

Conceptual Design Review (CDR) Services
- A comprehensive review of the conceptual site layout was conducted to confirm that all required fire and life safety provisions were incorporated. The review focused on fire department access, emergency vehicle maneuverability, hydrant coverage, egress routes, and overall compliance with applicable codes and standards.
- The project's fire and life safety strategy report was evaluated to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements, including site access, fire-fighting provisions, construction considerations, and life safety planning.
- Technical support was provided through workshops and site-specific discussions to address questions and provide code-related guidance.
Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) Approval
- The prepared package was submitted to Civil Defence for their information in accordance with their procedures.
- Coordination meetings were held with Civil Defence to review the site layout, clarify requirements, and align on compliance expectations.
